The one thing you have left out of your list is usability. Some applications have a huge learning curve.
It also depends whether you want 2D or 3D, and to an extent which country you are in. The Ghar3D link recommended below doesn't work for me, and I would guess it's mainly for India. Chief Architect is principally for the US market. It looks great for a simple 2D/3D drawing package, but its visitation tools are awful.
Personally, unless you are doing this for a living, I would stay well away from AutoCad and Revit. They are expensive. You can get pirate versions, but that's theft, and they are not easy to start to learn.
If you haven't done any 3D work before, chances that you will find any BIM application (like Revit, AecoSim, or Archicad) utterly impenetrable.
SketchUp is wonderful, but you have to build most of your model manually. There is an enormous component library for it, particularly for domestic architecture, but it doesn't have any intelligence like Chief Architect.
Jack Dahlgren's Draftsight recommendation is excellent. It's a free AutoCad type equivalent. It's a basic drafting package.
I would guess that most architects either use or have used SketchUp. It's easy to learn and fun. There is a free version for building models, and an affordable Pro version that allows you to generate 2d drawings and documentation from your model.
There are a number of add-on products to create beautiful visualisations, and there is a spectacularly good add-in called PlusSpec (+PlusSpec | BIM for SketchUp) that can help you build your house in 3D and create 2d drawings and estimates.
